Juicy and flavorful turkey burgers that are a leaner alternative to traditional beef burgers, perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, milk, panko, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Mix until well combined but don’t overmix.
  3. Form the mixture into patties of your desired size.
  4. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve the turkey burgers on buns with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Don’t overmix the turkey mixture; this will keep the burgers tender. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they’re cooked thoroughly. Let the patties rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.
