Ingredients

  • 2 whole eggs and 4 egg whites (or 4 whole eggs for convenience)
  • ½ cup of flour (all-purpose, gluten-free, or whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon miso (or substitute with soy sauce or a pinch of salt)
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Green Onions: Wash and chop green onions into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Mix Eggs: Whisk eggs and egg whites until smooth and frothy.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix flour, water, miso, and whisked eggs into a smooth batter. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add Green Onions: Fold the chopped green onions into the batter until evenly distributed.
  5. Cook Pancakes: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pour batter and spread into a thin, even circle. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
