Delicious and fun-to-make popcorn balls, perfect for parties or movie nights, with sweet marshmallows and crunchy popcorn.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 10 1/2 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 9 cups popped popcorn
  • 2 cups breakfast cereal (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add in the marshmallows and sugar, stirring until everything melts together.
  3. Pour the mixture over the popped popcorn and cereal, if using, and mix well.
  4. Once the mixture has cooled enough to handle, butter your hands and quickly form balls from the batter.
  5. Place the popcorn balls onto parchment paper and allow them to fully cool.

Notes

For a festive touch, add colorful sprinkles or candies. Ensure to melt the marshmallows slowly to avoid burning.
