Ingredients

  • Oil for frying
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup steak sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 6 to 8 egg roll wrappers

Instructions

  1. Prep the filling: Sauté green bell pepper and onion in olive oil until soft. Add seasoned, thinly sliced steak and cook until browned.
  2. Add flavor: Stir in beef broth and steak sauce. Simmer, then mix in shredded Monterey Jack cheese until melted.
  3. Roll the egg rolls: Place filling in egg roll wrappers, fold tightly, and seal with water.
  4. Fry to golden brown: Heat oil to 350°F and fry egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Notes
