A delicious sushi roll featuring smoked salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber for a creamy yet crunchy experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice (460 g)
  • ΒΌ cup seasoned rice vinegar (60 mL)
  • 4 half-sheets sushi-grade nori
  • 4 oz smoked salmon (115 g)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (115 g), cut into matchsticks
  • 1 small cucumber, cut into matchsticks

Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice by rinsing and then cooking according to package instructions, allowing it to steam for 10 minutes and seasoning with rice vinegar.
  2. Prepare fillings by slicing smoked salmon, cutting cream cheese into matchsticks, and slicing cucumber into matchsticks.
  3. Assemble the roll by laying nori on a sushi mat, adding rice, and arranging the fillings.
  4. Roll it up by tucking the edge of the mat, sealing it with water, and slicing into pieces.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and keep things cool. Don’t overfill the roll.
