A comforting and delicious Creamy Ranch Chicken dish made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Optionally sear the chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil for a few minutes to lock in juices and flavor.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  3. Whisk together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the CrockPot, cover, and let it cook.
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is cooked through and easily shredded.
  6. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
