A creamy, savory topped chicken breast dish that’s simple to make and packed with flavor, perfect for family dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch for uniform cooking.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, making sure to cover the entire surface.
  5. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the optional paprika or Italian seasoning on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to ensure maximum juiciness.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning mix for a few hours before baking. Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a crispy top.
