Crispy, crunchy pizza-flavored chips that are perfect for keto diets and low-carb snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until you form a dough.
  3. If you’re using them, fold in the sliced pepperoni and shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
  4. Using your hands, form small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball into a thin chip shape.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid over-browning.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving with sugar-free pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavors, switch up the seasonings or try adding some crushed red pepper flakes for a kick! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
