Crispy, sticky, sweet, and spicy, these Honey Buffalo Wings are baked to perfection for a healthier take on a game day classic.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds of wings
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with nonstick spray.
  2. Pat the wings dry with paper towels. Toss the wings with baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack and bake for about 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. While the wings bake, combine buffalo sauce, honey, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water to create a slurry. Stir this into the sauce and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens.
  6. Once the wings are done, toss them in the sauce until fully coated. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.

Notes

Ensure wings are thoroughly dried before seasoning for maximum crispiness. Adjust the spice level by altering the amount of buffalo sauce.
