A quick and easy green bean and bacon recipe packed with flavor! Crispy bacon, tender green beans, garlic, and Parmesan make the perfect side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds green beans
  • ½ pound bacon, diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans, cutting off the ends.
  2. Cook the diced bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside, leaving 1-2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan.
  3. Add butter to the skillet and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Toss the green beans into the skillet, cooking for 7-10 minutes until tender but slightly crisp.
  5. Stir in the bacon and sprinkle with Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • You can use frozen green beans; just thaw and pat dry before cooking.
