A rich and creamy dish with juicy shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, and garlic that combines warmth and comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes more.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over pasta or with crusty bread, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

For an extra kick, sprinkle in some red pepper flakes while cooking. If you prefer a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added flavor and texture.
