A luxurious dish featuring succulent shrimp in a rich garlic cream sauce served over fluffy mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot, boil potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and paprika, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in Parmesan, cooking until the sauce thickens. Add fresh thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Serve shrimp over a bed of mashed potatoes, drizzled with the creamy sauce.

Notes

For best flavor, cook the garlic until fragrant before adding the shrimp. You can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for different protein options.
