- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 package dry ranch dressing powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound bacon, cooked and chopped, divided
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- 30 ounces shredded hash brown potatoes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop into small pieces. Set aside a portion for topping.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stir in hash browns, 2 cups of cheddar cheese, and three-fourths of the bacon until well combined.
- Spread mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese and bacon.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the top for 2-3 minutes before removing from the oven.
