Description

This warm and spiced cinnamon syrup is perfect for drizzling over pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, or adding a sweet twist to coffee and desserts.

 
 

 

 


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, light corn syrup, and water in a medium saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil, then add ground cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly stir in evaporated milk until smooth.
  5. Cool to room temperature, transfer to a jar, and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • For a thicker syrup, simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Store in an airtight jar in the fridge and shake before use.
