Soft, fluffy donuts coated in crunchy cinnamon sugar, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Extra sugar and cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about halfway.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the donuts cool for a few minutes, then toss them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure not to overmix the batter; a few lumps are okay. If you don’t have a donut pan, use a muffin tin and adjust the baking time.
