Delicious cookies featuring chocolate hazelnut spread, crunchy hazelnuts, and crispy rice cereal for a delightful texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, then mix in the chocolate hazelnut spread until well combined.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, then fold in the chopped hazelnuts and crispy rice cereal.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a richer cookie, add a bit more chocolate hazelnut spread. Make sure to store cookies in an airtight container.
