Batter:

- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ¼ cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in the dish while the oven preheats.
- Combine dry ingredients, then mix in the milk and vanilla. Pour over melted butter.
- Sprinkle topping ingredients evenly over the batter.
- Pour boiling water over the top without stirring.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is set and slightly crispy.
