A creamy, cheesy, and hearty baked spaghetti dish that’s perfect for families and meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a pot of salted boiling water until just shy of al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Stir in Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the spaghetti sauce to the skillet and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer meat sauce, half the spaghetti, the cream cheese mixture, and repeat layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Cook pasta slightly undercooked since it will continue cooking in the oven. Let cream cheese soften for easier mixing.
