- 2 medium white onions, sliced into ¼-inch rings
- 1 ½ cups shredded parmesan cheese
- Optional: Olive oil spray
- Optional: Garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, chili flakes, Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉ (200℃).
- Line a 12×17 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle shredded parmesan evenly to create a cheese base on the parchment.
- Place onion rings on top, evenly spaced and not overlapping.
- Lightly spray or brush with olive oil if desired.
- Sprinkle any optional seasonings over the top.
- Bake for 18 minutes, or until cheese is golden and crispy.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before lifting off the tray.
Notes
For best results, use a mandoline slicer to get even ¼-inch rings and pat onions dry before baking. Let chips cool completely before storing to keep them crispy.
